Concrete Fire Table
I wanted to be able to seat up to 8 people at an outdoor table for large gatherings and cookouts. But also wanted to be able to have a safer fire pit experience - Where kids cant trip or fall in, but can safely cook S'mores and Hot-dogs over an open fire.

Table Design
By Raising the fire Pit up to table height, the light emitted by the fire will be directed at the people gathered around the fire casting a natural light rather than an under-lighting of peoples faces. Also providing ambient light on the tabletop to see what you are eating at night.
The Suspended metal firebox is able to cast radiant heat on the users bodies, legs, and feet keeping the people gathered warm even later in the season and on chilly nights.
The 2" thick rebar enforced concrete top provides a strong and weather resistant surface that does not conduct heat while the fire is in use and is heavy enough to not have concern of it being caught by any amount of wind or storms when left outdoors permanently.
